What was the most humiliating incident in your life so far?
What was the most humiliating incident in your life so far?
I haven't really had that many humiliating experiences. I'm the type of person that doesn't really care all that much about what people think, but still, there have been a few less than perfect moments in my life lol
When I was 15...
I dated this guy for about a month. I was absolutely crazy about this guy. He was really hot and one of those guys that is just ridiculously cool...a lot cooler than me lol...and I'm the one that dumped him! lol
When you're 15 years old you're pretty stupid. He flirted with other girls all the freakin' time, and in front of me! He'd slap them on the ass and everything. Well, at 15 you don't really have enough sense to "talk about it" or "work it out". So what's a genius to do? Dump him of course, because then he'll magically realize what he did, and how wrong it was...and he'll beg me to take him back and everything will perfect!
Well, I also thought it would be a good idea to call him while he was at his friend's house....4 days before Christmas...and dump him.
The conversation went something like "Hey baby..."
Me: "I think we should break up, it just isn't working out."
Him: "Okay."
. . . . .
Him: "I think you're supposed to hang up now."
lol...so thats how it went down.
We decided to stay friends but he never did ask me to take him back. What the hell? My plan was failing...
I tried and tried and tried to get him back. It was pathetic. And looking back on it now, he knew and was getting a kick out of it. Not that you can blame him, right?
Well, one day I was walking in town by myself, because walking in town is what you do around here. Anything cool is at least an hour's drive away. When you're 15 hanging out by yourself is bad enough, but I was really bored and all my friends were gone that day. So there I am walking down the sidewalk...bored...when I walk under a tree and a bird shits right on top my head. Fortunately, this was right in front of McDonald's so I run inside to go to the bathroom but before I can make it to the other end of the restaurant, who's voice do I hear yelling at me?
You guessed it.
If I had any sense, I would have pretended not to hear him and run into the bathroom and tried to clean myself off lol...but sensing the potentially humiliating moment that was pending, I panicked, and before I could think of what to do, he was right behind me.
And of course, he was with the new girlfriend.
So, since I'm standing there with bird shit dripping off my head I didn't really have any choice but to explain myself lol...
He laughed at me, she just kind of looked at me, and a part of me died inside lol...
I went on the bathroom and when I came out they were gone (thank God lol).
I'm 24 now, and if something liked that happened, I wouldn't really care. I'm at the point now where I'd be too pissed off at the bird to be embarrassed lol...but still, I was 15...and I can't really say it was a devastating moment or anything, but it really freakin' sucked! lol
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!
